![]() The lighting and other special effects as well as the gorgeous horses, costumes, and characters make this show so visually appealing. Right away you will notice that Medieval Times knows how to put on a show. Your server will introduce herself (she is in costume and in character of course) and you wait for the show to begin! Once it does, you are seated in cozy theatre seats and have your place setting and menu waiting for you. There is plenty to do and see while you wait for the arena to open. There is a cash bar, souvenirs (the kids had to have light up swords) and a museum you can go take a peek at for a nominal fee. You then enter a waiting lobby where you will wait for the show to begin. By this time, not only were the kids pumped, but the dads were too. ![]() This is the crown that shows the colors of the knight you will be cheering for in the dinner show. Once you get your tickets, and your family photo, you are off to pick up your designated color crown. The check in process is smooth and quick, so you spend little time waiting in line. You can’t help but notice the large castle as you approach, where costumed hosts are waiting at the entrance to check you in. Our spring break adventures were all about finding fun close to home, so when a friend invited us to check out Medieval Times Dinner Show in Schaumburg, Illinois, we said why not! Lately the little guy has been into all things action related, so the show seemed like a great fit for him.
